How do reviews actually work — can a business remove a bad one?

Reviews publish immediately and are limited to one per account for each business. Business owners cannot edit or delete a review simply because they dislike it. They can reply publicly and report a review that may break the rules. After three reports, a review is temporarily hidden while a person reviews it; nothing is automatically deleted.
