Terms of Service
These terms describe how Skye Ranch Professionals may be used. By creating an account or posting a listing or review, you agree to them. This page is maintained by the site owner and is not legal advice.

1. Independence & Non-Affiliation
Skye Ranch Professionals is an independent community directory built and run by neighbors. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Taylor Morrison, the developer of the Skye Ranch community, the Skye Ranch Master Association, any Skye Ranch homeowners association, or any community development district. "Skye Ranch" is used on this site solely to describe the neighborhood our directory serves. All trademarks and brand names are the property of their respective owners. Business listings and reviews reflect the submissions and opinions of individual users, not any official community body.
2. The service
Skye Ranch Professionals is a community directory that connects Skye Ranch residents with local businesses and service professionals. We host listings and reviews; we do not perform, supervise, guarantee, or broker any of the work described in a listing.
Any agreement, payment, or dispute is strictly between you and the business you hire.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information, including a real email address, and keep it current.
- Resident accounts must use the actual address of the account holder. The resident badge is based on that address; misrepresenting it is grounds for removal.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. Business listings
- New listings are reviewed by an administrator before they appear publicly, and may be approved or rejected.
- You must own or be authorized to represent the business you list.
- Listing content — description, hours, service area, contact channels, logo, and photos — must be accurate and must not misrepresent licensing, credentials, or affiliation with the Skye Ranch community or its HOA or CDD.
- You must have the rights to any logo or photo you upload.
- Approved listings may be edited by the owner at any time. Substantial changes may be re-reviewed.
- Listings that are fraudulent, abandoned, or repeatedly in violation of these terms may be suspended or removed.
5. Reviews
- Reviews must describe your own genuine, first-hand experience with the business.
- One review per business per account. You may edit or delete your own review at any time.
- Do not post: paid or incentivized reviews, reviews of your own business or a competitor's, personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, illegal content, private personal information about anyone, or advertising.
- Reviews must meet a minimum length and pass automated duplicate and spam checks. Repeated submissions in a short period are rate limited.
- Reviews are published immediately and are not pre-screened. They reflect the opinion of the reviewer, not of Skye Ranch Professionals.
6. Owner replies
- A business owner may post one public reply per review on their own listing, up to 1,000 characters.
- Replies must remain professional. Do not disclose a customer's private information or retaliate against a reviewer.
7. Flagging and moderation
- Any signed-in user may flag a review that appears to violate these terms, once per review.
- A review that receives three flags is automatically hidden pending administrator review; a review that receives five is automatically removed.
- Administrators may restore, hide, or remove any content, and may suspend or delete any account, at their discretion.
- Abusing the flagging system to suppress legitimate reviews is itself a violation.
8. Your content and our license to display it
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you grant Skye Ranch Professionals a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the directory. This license ends for a given item when you delete it, except for copies retained in ordinary backups.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy directory content.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or administrative functions that are not yours.
- Do not probe, disrupt, or overload the site, or bypass rate limits and security controls.
- Do not use the directory to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages to residents or businesses.
10. Availability and changes
The directory is provided as-is and as-available. We work to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Skye Ranch Professionals makes no warranty about the quality, licensing, insurance, safety, or legality of any business listed here, and no warranty about the accuracy of any listing or review. Verify credentials and insurance yourself before hiring anyone.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Skye Ranch Professionals and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the directory or from any transaction with a listed business.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. Sections covering content licenses, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Sarasota County, Florida.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms are effective August 3, 2026. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date; continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions go to support@skyeranchprofessionals.com.
Community details such as HOA and CDD assessments, home pricing, and amenity availability change over time. Confirm current figures with the Skye Ranch Master Association or your builder before making decisions.
